No Rivet Master Links..??

Bought and fitted to my motorcycle before realizing inside the master link packet was a clip style master link which is absurd they even claim up to 750cc on this chain. Going highway speeds will leave you without a chain and coasting down the highway. Says nowhere on the box that they only sell clip style for this chain and only D.I.D links fit since the diameter is so small.

Thank you for your feedback! On our website we give you the option to choose either a clip or rivet styled connecting link to come in the box with your chain. Our product code also showcases what type of link is included in the box 520VOX120FB (FB, RB, or ZB).
ZJ520VO is the product code for a rivet-styled connecting link.

Is the 520VO the same as any other 520 “O” ring chain?

When I tried to use the mastering to connect my new 520VO to my old 520 O-Ring to thread the new thru the front sprocket, it wouldn’t fit. The new “VO” has a smaller diameter hole size, making the spare masterlink in my tool kit useless! Not that I expect to have problems, it’s just I like to be prepared while trail riding. Send me a link to where I can order a couple of spares, please.

Connecting links aren't interchangeable between chain models as each chain model and version has specific material compositions and dimensions giving it its unique specs. A connecting link specific to your '520 O-Ring chain' will need to be ordered.
