Rivet vs Clip 520VT2 Master Link

My DID 520VT2 chain for my KLX250S came with a clip type of master link. I removed the chain to work on the transmission which was hitting neutral on every 1st to 2nd gear change attempt. I fixed that with a few new parts but upon reassembly I noticed that one of the special X rings for the master link.was damaged. I searched 8 different DID dealers and the DID USA website for these thin X-rings. I only found 520VT2 master links, so I ordered a few sets from DID in Tennessee. They were all rivet type! I wanted the clip type for the low powered KLX. I never could find clip type 520VT2 master links like my original chain came with - but I did get some fresh X-rings in the Master Link package.
